After the reconquest of Granada in 1492, and after nearly eight centuries of Muslim rule, changes and new Christian buildings gave the city of splendor and religious symbolism. Constructed buildings of great historical and cultural value as the Royal Chapel, funeral pantheon of the Catholic Monarchs and the Metropolitan Cathedral.

After visiting the Royal Chapel and the Cathedral, crossing the streets of the historic center, walking down the Alcaicería, old Arab souk, converted into commercial and artisanal area. Also visit the famous Plaza Bib-Rambla and Plaza del Carmen, the heart of the city.
